Our shim is purchased direct from overseas Steel Mills in large quantities. All stainless steel is tension levelled reducing "coil set" dramatically. We are able to provide flat sheet which does not curl. The shim is 600mm wide (24"), twice the width of most of our other suppliers in Australia, so you get more metal for your dollar.
Shim material may be 304 1/2 hard or Full Hard, available in thicknesses from .05mm(0.002") to 0.3mm(0.012"). We also sell1/2 Hard Brass in 0.13mm(0.005") 150mm wide & 0.25mm(0.010") x 300mm wide..
We manufacture shim shapes to your requirements - washers, 'U' or complicated shapes are all possible with our laser and chemical cutting processes.
